Electile Dysfunction, Night of A Thousand Judys, Witches In Bikinis

There’ll be a gridlock alert on Jul 15 as the Kinsey Sicks take over the Highline Ballroom for Electile Dysfunction, the official launch of their groundbreaking campaign to become the first Dragapella Beauty Shop Quartet to serve as President of the United States and Leader of the Free World. Watch the gals take (a)back America by out-pandering, out-conspiracy theorizing, and out-outlandishing even the most cynical of the current crop of presidential candidates, all in glorious four-part harmony.

The Ali Forney Center invites you to its second annual Night of A Thousand Judys playing at Playwrights Horizons Jun 18. The show is a special presentation of the acclaimed variety show The Meeting which honors the legendary Judy Garland with special skits, tributes and songs from her storied career. Proceeds benefit Ali Forney Center and its mission to protect LGBTQ youth from the harm of homelessness.

Don’t miss the glam pop/rock act Witches In Bikinis at the Wonder Wheel Music Marathon at the Coney Island boardwalk Aug 18. Composed of stunning female vocalists wearing black bikinis and neon wigs, the Witches combine beach party and low-budget horror flick themes into a unique rock ‘n roll experience. Brewed in a cauldron in Brooklyn, their original tunes with memorable lyrics and melodies are reminiscent of 60’s girl groups, Rocky Horror and the B-52’s.
