NYE all-nighters, glitter and unicorns (yes, unicorns), “Oh, my!”

FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST, DEC 19
Sometimes drama is good—especially when it comes to a lesbian musical. Natalie Elizabeth Weiss of the band Unicornicopia has written a new show, Camp Wanatachi, that just might strike a familiar chord. In fact, it’s on its way to becoming the first-ever lesbian musical on Broadway. Come for a preview of the show and stay for the bands and spiked egg nog. Did we mention there’s also a craft table?

REBEL CUPCAKE 9: UNICORNS, JAN 13
Q: How do you make a monthly queer dance party with cupcakes even better? A: You give it a unicorn theme! Now with more sparkle than ever, Rebel Cupcake celebrates everyone’s favorite mythical creature at Sugarland. Methinks hostess Bevin has a thing for queer pageant winners: this month’s performers include both reigning Mr. Transman and Mr. International Bear, plus saucy burlesque from The World Famous *BOB* and Miss Mary Wanna.
