NYC New Year’s Eve Round-up and The L Word Premiere Party

NOTE: Be Sure To Scroll Down For All The Hot News Years Parties!!

NEW YEARS EVE @ SHESCAPE
Shescape parties rarely disappoint and this New Year’s Eve promises to be one of the best yet.  Beyond the usual collection of gorgeous women packing the dance floor, this year the ladies of Shescape have put together an option for a pre-party VIP dinner in the same location as the party, Tre Merli in SoHo.  For $95 you can treat yourself to a four-course meal with delicious options including roasted beef tenderloin, grilled wild salmon, or sautéed duck breast.  Included with the cost of the meal is a ticket to the party, which really makes this package quite a deal!  After dinner the party kicks into high-gear with DJ Francesa Magliano on the decks, and beautiful go-gos  to  get the crowd in the mood. At midnight there will be a complimentary champagne toast to ring in the New Year, which is a great opportunity to lock lips with that cute girl you’ve been eyeing across the room!  Reservations for dinner are limited, and there is only one seating at 8pm, so if you’d like to join in the deliciousness make sure you call well in advance.

DJ STACY PRESENTS: NEW YEAR’S EVE @ 39TH STREET LOFT
Red hot DJ Stacy rings in ’09 in style at the brand new 39th Street Loft. Your $75 (advance) ticket includes a hot buffet before midnight, an open bar all night, and a champagne toast at midnight.  Dance your way into 2009 with some of NYC’s hottest go-go dancers in this gorgeous two-floor venue. Fan favorite door woman, Diana, will be welcoming you and  setting the vibe for the New Year.  Be sure to check out the heated outdoor balcony when you need a break from the dance floor.

NEW YEAR’S EVE AFTERPARTY: LIVE YOUR LIFE 2009 @ AURA
LovergirlNYC and Gudlyfe Entertainment have a place for you to get your groove on after the ball drops. Six hours of dancing with music provided by DJ Mary Mac and Maya. The night will be packed full of hot performances, including a set by hip hop/rap artist Mahogany, and the exotic gyrations of Mona and Texas throughout the night.  Refuel with a complimentary breakfast after indulging in the great drink specials offered all night long.

EDEN @ COUNTRY CLUB
Maggie C’s Wednesday night party, Eden, is moving to a fabulous new location—Country Club— beginning Dec 17, with just enough time to settle in before her big New Year’s Eve bash. The opening party has DJ ShErOck on the wheels of steel and a special guest appearance by Top Chef’s Jamie Lauren.  On New Year’s Eve watch the ball drop on the club’s massive flat screen TVs (if you’re not too distracted by the sexy entertainment and other decadent high-end treats Maggie has in store).  The place will be decked out to resemble the Garden of Eden and will have earthly pleasures beyond your wildest dreams, including chocolate fondue!  There will be plenty of drink specials and gift bags to go around, or go all out and book yourself a VIP table featuring bottle service.  Of course, dressing to impress is a must!  Email Maggie@MaggieCEvents.com in advance for more details and to make your VIP arrangements.

NEW YEAR’S EVE @ BUM BUM BAR
This New Year’s Eve celebration at Bum Bum Bar will be a significant one, marking not just the new year, but also the first full year of business for the bar.  To celebrate and to thank everyone who has been with them, they are having a huge black tie affair with music by none other than their very own DJ Boli, who will be playing all the Latin tunes that get your hips swiveling on the dancefloor.  The party will go on until 8am, so make sure you wear your most comfortable black-tie appropriate footwear.  Look for live performances by yet undisclosed guests as well as plenty of hors d’oeuvres  served throughout the night.  Watch the ball drop on the mega TV screens while raising a glass of complimentary champagne.  Breakfast will be served in the morning to help get you back on track. There will be an official 1st anniversary party to follow on Jan 18, which gives you just enough time to rest up and do it all over again.

HENRIETTA HUDSON’S NEW YEAR’S EVE
Happy to be celebrating their 18th NYE, the club is offering drink specials all day and night including a three-hour happy hour beginning at 4pm, followed by a three-hour recession special, and then six hours of shot and shooter specials.  That’s a full twelve hours! Not to mention the discounted bottles of champagne all night long (only $25 each!), in addition to the free champagne toast at midnight.  They will be open until the sun rises at 6am, and begin serving a bagel breakfast at 4am for those of us who need a little refueling to keep the party going strong.  VIP packages, which are extremely limited in quantity, include a few free drinks, no-wait entry to the party at any hour, a Henrietta boybeater top, as well as free entry to the special singles event the next night.   The girls are trying to keep it classy, so put on your finest digs for a special discount at the door.

SNAPSHOT NEW YEAR’S @ THE ZIPPER FACTORY
New Year’s Eve at the Zipper Factory will be a night of non-stop entertainment as the ladies of Snapshot join forces with Murray Hill and DJ Huckwild to throw one hell of a New Year’s Eve extravaganza! Buy tickets to see Murray’s show at 10:30pm, then stay on and party with Snapshot. Or, just get a Snapshot ticket and start partying when the doors open at 10pm!  Either way, there’s a complimentary champagne toast at midnight! Join the steamy Snapshot following for delicious food, drink specials, sizzling go-go dancers, DJ Huckwild, DJ Tease and DJ Roze Royce.  Special surprise performances from Murray’s show (including Murray’s first DJ set!) and hundreds of queers will make the Zipper bulge with delight!

OFFICIAL L-WORD PREMIERE PARTY @ PACHA
After much anticipation The L Word is back for its sixth and final season. On Jan 18, Human Rights Campaign, Showtime and GO Magazine are getting together to host the official NYC premiere party. DJs Susan Levine and Stacy will spin their regular brew of magic dance tracks.  Lori Michaels will be on the mic with Vero and her gang of go-go girls circulating the dance floor when they’re not busy getting down on the boxes. Watch the premiere surrounded by all of your favorite lesbians, including several surprise guests, who may just be L Word cast members! Lori and The Girls will perform songs from their new album, and the event is followed by an official afterparty!
