The Very Best of Comedy and Variety

Homo Comicus, Fruit Festival and much more

What a better way to celebrate Pride Week than by laughing uncontrollably and listening to live music in support of great charities? That’s exactly what you’ll do on Jun 25 when you attend Uncivil Union, a benefit concert for the Ally Coalition, New Alternative and Broadway Impact at (le) poisson rouge. Join Broad City faves Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, along with many others, to end discrimination against the LGBT community.

The beloved Fresh Fruit Festival returns Jul 7-20 to The Wild Project to celebrate LGBTQ arts and culture. During this critically acclaimed annual festival, attendees can look forward to a diverse array of artistic expression including plays, dance performances, cabaret showcases, spoken word programs and film screenings. All Out Arts presents the festival “to celebrate the LGBTQ community’s unique perspective, creativity and diversity, and to build links between the LGBTQ artistic communities, be they local or international.”

We're very fond of Gotham Comedy Club's Homo Comicus here at GO and we look forward to it, especially when our favorite comics perform. When we heard about “A Midsummer Night's Scream” on Aug 6, we were psyched: the brilliant Judy Gold, the adorable curmudgeon Jackie Hoffman and other community faves! We'll be there, so join us for some sidesplitting laughs and cold brews.
