JoJo Siwa, current reigning lesbian supreme, was honored over the weekend at West Hollywood’s Pride festivities. Siwa was given the title of “Next Gen Pride Icon” at the parade and given a key to the city of Los Angeles. She slayed the parade in style on a rainbow glitter-encrusted float that had her Pride merch slogan “Be what you be.” She wore a bedazzled jean vest with rainbow tulle on her shoulders and one of her Pride t-shirts. Her girlfriend, Kylie Prew, was also on the float wearing JoJo’s merch. JoJo wore her new signature mini ponytails with hair tinsel and face paint that featured different pride flags along with pearls and rhinestones.

This wasn’t the only impact that JoJo has already made this Pride month. She appeared in an editorial shoot for Paper Magazine that blew everyone away.
JoJo was styled in many different looks ranging from her usual wild crazy and colorful self to a more subdued and masculine look. This proud representation has never been seen before from such a young celebrity, and especially from someone who has a large audience of kids. She continues to give hope to all generations that there are big and bright opportunities for the rising LGBTQ+ community.
Later this month, she will be hosting Can’t Cancel Pride, a virtual event presented by iHeartRadio and P&G to bring Pride into the homes of people everywhere. Other stars include Elton John, Katy Perry, Lizzo, Sam Smith, Anitta, Dove Cameron, Betty Who, and Kim Petras. The one hour event will stream on June 14 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on iHeartRadio’s TikTok, YouTube, Facebook pages, iHeartRadio’s PrideRadio.com and Revry. It will also be available on-demand until June 30th.
