May 11, this year’s special “Edge of Seventeen” event marks the gathering’s 17th anniversary and the performance roster includes legendary NOTS DJs Eve and Craig Spencer spinning all-Stevie, all-Fleetwood, all night. Confirmed performers include Enchantresses of Ceremony: Empress Chi Chi Valenti, Hattie Hathaway, Shortbus and “Kiki and Herb” star Justin Bond and Sherry Vine, among many others. Funny ladies Michele Balan (from NBC’s Last Comic Standing), Erin Foley (from Logo’s Wisecracks), Julie Goldman (from Logo’s new Big Gay Sketch Show) and Jackie Monahan (from the “LOL Lesbians of Laughter” tour) perform and Marion Grodin hosts. A benefit extravaganza to support CIRCUS AMOK, New York City’s internationally-renowned, only inter-borough traveling circus, GLAMOK! includes the performance talents of Carmelita Tropicana, Justin Bond, Peggy Shaw, Basil Twist, The Dazzle Dancers, Julie Atlas Muz, The Swiss Misses and The Circus Amok Band. The event also includes an auction featuring work and goodies by Inner Princess, Nautica, Babeland, Liza Bear, Chanterelle, Town Shop, Birkram Yoga LES, Mikey’s HookUp and many others.
