America’s Most Captivating Couples 2007

It was difficult to narrow down the entries, but we finally did it–and the result is the year’s most captivating couples! Ranging from a historic preservationist to a superhero to a TV talk show host (times two), it’s great to see so many proud women, not just in love, but spreading that love around and making the world a brighter place. Auna and Megan had known the same social groups for years, but it wasn’t until 2005, when a friend asked them to perform in a show that things took off. They both share a passion for writing and performing along with the fact that Megan is easily entertained by Auna’s “ridiculous sense of humor” for hours on end. What keeps them together? Many things, including “a willingness to open up and trust one another; understanding; sharing and encouraging one another’s goals, as well as common goals; loving one another unconditionally; and realizing that we are both so very incredibly lucky to have one another.”
