Club Speakeasy: A New Year’s Eve Circus Extravaganza at Frenchmen Hotel (417 Frenchmen St.) at 8 p.m. — What could be more NOLA than a circus speakeasy event on NYE? Say a secret password at the door for entry (hint, it’s “let’s misbehave”). Live music, electro-swing music, and more. Tickets $15 to $20.

DJ Soul Sister’s 17th Annual New Year’s Eve Soul Train at Civic Theatre (510 O’Keefe Ave.) at 10 p.m. — Transport yourself back to the ‘70s with this Soul Train themed dance party featuring the legendary DJ Soul Sister. Tickets start at $30.

F#@K 2019: A NYE Dance Party at Okay Bar (1700 Port St.) at 10 p.m. — DJ Nice Rack and Phlegm are DJing at this New Year’s Eve event, which is free and includes a champagne toast at midnight.

New Year’s Eve at The Allways at The Allways Lounge & Cabaret (2240 St. Claude Ave.) at 9:30 p.m. — Allways Lounge, a venue well-known for queer burlesque, is hosting a laidback NYE party and show. General admission $20, VIP seating starts at $60 for two people.

New Year’s Eve Freak Show at Joy Theater (1200 Canal St.) at 10 p.m. — Big Freedia, Boyfriend and Sweet Crude are performing at this “three-ring twerkus” (yes, another circus-themed NYE party). Tickets are $30 to $60.

New Year’s Eve with Debauche at Hi-Ho Lounge (2239 St. Claude Ave.) at 9 p.m. — Fire dancing, belly dancing, sword dancing, and more at this one-of-a-kind NYE party. Tickets $20 in advance, $25 at the door.

New Year, New Me with Felice Gee and Legatron Prime at Three Keys (600 Carondelet St.) at 11:45 p.m. — Two black women DJs will be spinning for NYE at Three Keys, an intimate venue inside of the Ace Hotel. No cover.
