World’s Fastest Woman Falls From Grace

In October 2007, Olympic gold medalist sprinter and long jumper Marion Jones, who was at one time the fastest woman on earth, admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs before the 2000 Sydney Olympics. She pled guilty to lying to federal prosecutors, tearfully announced her retirement and surrendered the five medals she won in Sydney. In January 2008, Jones was sentenced to six months in prison.
