5 Lesbian Things To Do In Central Florida This Weekend

Happy Friday, lesbians of Central Florida! This week’s roundup of events ranges from Orlando to Tampa to St. Petersburg.

Friday

Mean Girls: The Dragsical at Footlight Theatre in Orlando (410 N. Orange Blossom Trail) at 7:30 p.m. — Parliament House presents this drag musical rendition of the classic teen movie “Mean Girls.” Tickets are just $20, and if you miss Friday’s show, there’s another one on Saturday at the same time.

Equality Florida 2020 Tampa Gala at Armature Works in Tampa (1910 N. Ola Ave.) at 8 p.m. — Celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in Florida and learn about all the great advocacy work that Equality Florida is doing at this gala. There will be auctions, open bars, entertainment, awards. Tickets are $125.

Mardi Gras at Quench Lounge in Largo (13284 66th St.) at 9:30 p.m. — Here’s a Mardi Gras themed celebration for those who need to bring a little Carnival cheer into their weekend. Get there early for happy hour.

Saturday

Drag Brunch at Iberian Rooster in St. Petersburg (475 Central Ave.) at 11 a.m. — This weekly drag brunch is always a good time! Three-course brunch buffet, bottomless mimosas, and host Adriana Sparkle. Tickets are $20.

Girl The Party at Southern Nights Orlando (375 S. Bumby Ave.) at 10 p.m. — You truly cannot go wrong with this weekly lesbian party; it’s huge, diverse, and lively. There’s nowhere else to be on a Saturday night.
