Happy Valentine’s Day lesbians! Enjoy these Central Florida events in Tampa, Orlando, Gulfport, and St. Petersburg.

Saturday

The Breakdown: Lovers Lane at Southern Nights Tampa (1401 E. 7th Ave.) at 6:30 p.m. — Central Florida’s ballroom culture comes to life at this monthly series featuring contestants in a variety of categories, with a special category of whaacking!

The Love Ball by Amor Events at Irish Shannon’s in Orlando (41 W. Church St.) at 9 p.m. — A full club experience in honor of Valentine’s Day weekend, featuring three floors with three different types of music: house, latin, and hip-hop. There will be Latin food, hookah, bottle service, and drag performances by Yesia Jovovich, Kiala Santi, and Jeivy Lalique.

Sunday

Sunday Funday Singles Brunch at Pom Pom’s Teahouse & Sandwicheria in St. Petersburg (2950 Central Ave.) at 11 a.m. — Rather than mope at home for Valentine’s Day weekend, go to this brunch for LGBTQ singles. $3 ticket includes a complimentary mimosa.

Punking and Wh-aa-cking Workshop at MORPH St. Petersburg (1833 1st Ave S.) at 12 p.m. — If you go to the ballroom event on Saturday and get inspired to learn how to whaack, luckily for you there’s a whole workshop! For all levels, no experience necessary. Brought to you by What the Punk Fest LGBTQ+ Safe Space Project, Open House Conspiracy, and MORPH.

Gulfport Peace, Love & Pride Festival 2020 at Gulfport Casino (5500 Shore Blvd S) at 12 p.m. — Celebrate Gulfport’s annual Pride festival! All are welcome at this all-day event at the historic Gulfport Casino.
