5 Lesbian Things To Do In Central Florida This Weekend

Pick-a-Chick, burlesque, Pride pageant.

Lesbians have a reputation for being homebodies, but there is really no excuse to stay inside this weekend if you live in Central Florida — just look at these events.

Saturday

Gasparilla Knight Parade After-Party at Honey Pot Tampa (1507 E. 7th Ave.) at 7 p.m. — If you’re heading out to the Gasparilla Knight Parade this Saturday, head to Honey Pot afterward for an after-party and celebration. The club will be turned into a “perfect pirate hideaway.”

GIRL The Party: Pick a Chick at Southern Nights Orlando (375 S. Bumby Ave.) at 10 p.m. — The biggest weekly lesbian party in Florida is turning into a Valentine’s Day matchmaking event this Saturday! You get a number when you enter, and there’s a wall with envelopes with each number on them. If someone likes you they leave a note in your envelope, or you can leave a note in someone else’s. Time to find a bae in time for V-Day.

Sunday

Femmes & Follies: Love Affair at Honey Pot Tampa (1507 E. 7th Ave.) at 7 p.m. — This Valentine’s Day-themed burlesque show will feature all types of performers, from burlesque to aerialists to pole dance to cabaret.
