Celebrating its 52nd season, Shakespeare in the Park returns to Central Park’s Delacorte Theater. Opening with Much Ado About Nothing on Jun 3 and running to Jul 6, Hamish Linklater and Lily Rabe return as would-be lovers Beatrice and Benedick. The outrageous and uniquely New York event, the Mermaid Parade, will take place as always on Coney Island Jun 21. The largest art parade in the nation, it’s a colossal celebration of folklore and legend with over 1,500 creative individuals showcasing their original body art, mermaid-themed costumes and so much more.

It may be in its 35th year, but the annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular never disappoints! With past performances by Cher, Mariah Carey and Taylor Swift, this year’s lineup is sure to delight viewers of all ages. Whether you watch it on  TV or venture to the west side with the rest of the crowds, Macy’s will provide everyone with a superb, eye-catching experience.

The 12th annual Fresh Fruit Festival returns Jul 7-20 to celebrate LGBTQ arts and culture. Attendees can look forward to a diverse array of artistic expression including plays, dance, cabaret shows, spoken word programs and films.

Katy Perry returns to NYC on Jul 9 to get Madison Square Garden on its feet and “Roar”ing in delight at her eye-popping show. Katy’s concerts never disappoint: she gives fans the song and dance numbers they’re waiting to hear and see. Her show is bound to be one of the biggest and brightest concerts of the summer!

Tori Amos, one of alternative rock’s most prolific and talented artists of all time, returns to the famed Beacon Theater for a two-night run on Aug 12-13, supporting her new album, Unrepentant Geraldines.
