Wonder Lee’s upcycled bow tie designs are a regular on late night TV. A favorite of “Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” bandleader Questlove, Wonder Lee’s custom ties are statement pieces that have garnered her collaborations with celebrities, corporations and brands, including Capital One, NBC, Philadelphia 76ers and JIF Peanut Butter. Want a chalkboard bow tie? You got it. A Notorious B.I.G. album cover across your neck? No problem.
“With love and commitment, anything is possible,” Lee said of her approach to being a successful business person. “Don’t allow fear to come between you and what feels right.”
In her spare time, Lee works with WENYC Connect, mentoring other women entrepreneurs about her self-taught approach to growing and running a successful start-up. She also refers to herself as an “alignment coach,” sharing her perspective on “alignment, abundance and manifestation” on her YouTube channel.
“I believe each day should be about learning, evolving, and living in love,” Lee said. “Living in the present is the greatest gift you could give yourself.”
