2013 NYC Pride Parties

Editors Picks

SATURDAY, JUNE 15

PRIDE BIKINI BRUNCH AT AVA LOUNGE
Spice NYC and girlNATIONnyc team up to kick the second installment of this lezzie brunch up a notch for Pride. Where the debut of this elegant, rooftop event brought out well-dressed omelet enthusiasts, the Pride edition will welcome women who are brave enough to sport bikinis (maybe we should beg off the French toast this week). It’s also a special release party for The Voice finalist Vicci Martinez’s debut album Vicci. Look for the Pink Kiss cosmo special.

THURSDAY, JUNE 27

STRIP N’ SING AT STONEWALL
Start your rainbow-filled weekend off right with a little drunken, naked singing. Danielle Presents and Sir Sabrina host karaoke-with-a-twist every Thursday night at Stonewall, the prefect place to prep for Pride. Sabrina promises to sing backup for those too timid to tackle their own tunes, but we’re not clear on when the clothes start coming off. We guess we’ll go and find out!

FRIDAY, JUNE 28

HOT RABBIT PRIDE AT THE MONSTER
Three stellar DJs—Amber Valentine, Whitney Day and Chaotic—keep the music blasting at Hot Rabbit’s Friday fete.  While this super-queer party is always a barrel of monkeys (er, rabbits), expect Boy Wonder Events to bring out all the stops, like tons of giveaways, potent frozen margaritas, go-go beauties and much more.

LESBO-A-GO-GO AT STONEWALL
It’s free, it’s female, and it’s fabulous. We know Stonewall’s long-running Friday-night lesbian party will be totally bananas come Pride weekend. Gorgeous go-gos, really cheap drinks and a fun, friendly atmosphere make this an annual ritual at the end of June. Celebrate Pride where it all began!

PRIDE KICKOFF AT CLUB ESCOS
LovergirlNYC, Dreamgyrls Ent., CJ Milan, Black Stiletto Ent., JG of Ladiesloveladies.com and Flip Cyde Productions join forces for two crazy parties. Don’t think of the Friday bash at Club Escos as a warm-up—it will be just as bangin’ as  Sunday’s blowout. This edition features DJ Poison Ivy, DJ Kid Swag and Hot 97’s Bobby Konders.

SHAKEDOWN AT HENRIETTA HUDSON
The city’s best-known lesbian bar and girl transforms into Pride Central for 72 hours, starting now. Soak it up with a free shot (if you’re one of the first 100 people in the door), drink specials by the beautiful and dextrous bargirls, and surprise DJs spinning sexy soul, house and disco to get you in the mood.

SOCIAL FRIDAYS
Bum Bum Bar always throws a post-Queens Pride celebration earlier in June, but the beloved Latin institution keeps the party going all month. Gear up for NYC Pride weekend at this Woodside spot, where there’s a different theme and promoter every Friday. Expect surprises!

SATURDAY, JUNE 29

RAPTURE ON THE RIVER AT PIER 26
The official women’s dance of NYC Pride turns ten this year, and celebrates with a new outdoor venue in TriBeCa. Dance to DJ Dimples and DJ Whitney Day, knock back a few cocktails, mingle with thousands of women and watch the sun set over the Hudson. We can’t think of a better way to revel. There’s a reason Rapture is one of the nation’s longest-running women’s Pride events.

PIER PRESSURE 14 RELOADED AT CHELSEA BREWING COMPANY
Smoking hot Jessica Clark—who plays Lilith on HBO’s True Blood—hosts the official afterparty for Rapture on the River. Danielle Presents, Las Reinas, Stacy Lentz and LovergirlNYC pull out all the stop for Pier Pressure’s 14th year: DJs Whitney Day, Stacy and Melly Mel; three dance floors, views of the Hudson, go-go hotties, a wet T-shirt contest and 2,000 gorgeous women from all across the globe.

PRIDE NATION AT M LOUNGE
Pride Nation: where equality is the law of the land. girlNATIONnyc welcomes you with free signature shots, multiple drink specials, and two sizzling dancers from L.A.: Dinah Vegas star Vanessa and Truck Stop Girlz bombshell Brooklyn. DJ Jessica and Lush play party faves. Pick up your Pride beads and bracelets here!

SIREN AT BEEKMAN BEACH CLUB
Henrietta Hudson, Spice NYC and Sir Sabrina pull into port for Siren, a whirl of sexy mermaids, refreshing grog and sea chanteys (by which we mean thumpin’ party beats) from DJ Roxy Cottontail and Heather M. The beautiful riverside venue offers indoor/outdoor bars, a real sand beach and a tasty bar menu. Join thousands of sea sirens on the double-size dancefloor.

EUPHORIA 2013 VANILLA SKY AT DROM
Lovergirlnyc, Dreamgyrls Ent. and CJ Milan present Vanilla Sky, where hundreds of angelic women will be decked out in white. The delicious Jessica Clark returns to preside over the event, while 5 Star DJ Mary Mac and DJ Poison Ivy spin hip hop, house and old school favorites in this sexy subterranean space.

SUNDAY, JUNE 30

NYC PRIDE ULTIMATE MEGA GRAND FINALE EVENT AT CLUB ELEMENT
NY Pride Euphoria & Team Takeover NYC give girls one last chance to get their Pride on at this Sunday night bash. Three levels and five hours of nonstop music by DJs Mary Mac, Missy B, Poison Ivy and Kidd Swag. DJ Debbie and Gussy hold down the reggae room in the Vault. More than 4,000 women are expected, so early arrival is a must!

POST-PRIDE AT HENRIETTA HUDSON
Right after the Pride March, make a beeline for Henrietta Hudson. Wait, you’re not sure where it is? Just follow the hordes of women heading for Hudson Street. This indoor/outdoor free-for-all is an unofficial post-parade tradition.

SNAPSHOT PROUD AS F*CK AT BAR 13
The weekly Snapshot may be defunct, but the crew holds the torch aloft every Pride Sunday. The ninth annual roofdeck party offers three floors of eye candy plus music from Sveta, Roze Royce and Heather M (and additional surprise DJs). Refuel with two-for-one drink specials from 4-7pm, because you’ll need it—this thing goes all night.

STILETTO PRIDE
Stiletto Pride returns! Kick back with hundreds of beautiful women at the summery outdoor cabanas after the march. Celebrate Pride at Maggie C’s famed Sunday party, now in its sixth season! Top DJs, snacks, fab cocktails and eye candy galore. See listings for details.

WILD THANG AT MARQUEE
Chelsea’s scene-y Marquee hosts DJ Whitney Day and Hot Rabbit’s joint Pride bash after the march. Party hearty with your LGBT comrades and enjoy state-of-the-art sound, lighting, live video mixing, go-go insanity, amazing music and special surprise performances. And did we mention the DJ competition and more than 1,000 hotties on board? We’re there!
