MORGAN HILDEBRAND

Morgan Hildebrand characterizes herself as “the sex, drugs and rock n’ roll of lesbianism.” Born and raised in L.A., this spitfire videographer and all-around gadfly spent four years in Chicago making kids’ toys before devoting herself to documenting “the wild side of gaytown,” and she retains a distinctly playful spirit from the experience. Aside from posting new clips to her three YouTube channels, she hosts and produces the video series Morgan Hildebrand is…SO GAY on the lesbian Web site CherryGrrl.com, most recently capturing the mayhem of this year’s Dinah in Palm Springs. She doesn’t make a cent from her wacky videos—she does it all for love. “I became bored as all bloody hell with the lack of sunshine in the lesbian community,” she explains. “I started making tons of bizarro lesbian videos that spread fast. No film or camera experience, but that’s all part of the charm of it!” –KL
